NEC is working on a serial communications interface 16 Gb/s

The Japanese company announced the development of a new interface for serial communication with speeds up to 16 Gb / s, three times the SuperSpeed (USB 3.0) approved a few months ago and has not even been implemented yet on the market.
NEC explains the development of the new interface with much faster, with the emergence of high definition television and video content in 3D.
NEC transmission schemes used as USB and PCI Express improved to reduce interference and increase the speed of data transfer.
Be welcome any technological advance involving higher speed but a couple of notes: USB 3.0 does not even have devices already on the market and NEC announced the development of new interfaces and also the same Intel is delaying the adoption of SuperSpeed to boost its own Light Peak alternate connector. What do you expect the industry to change devices every six months?
